"the Cedral" is a beautiful considered cattle cattle ranch like an ecological reserve due to its invaluable wild life, which provides its visitors one of the greatest spectacles of the fauna of our hemisphere. Account with the extension of 53,000 hectares, in which they have been identified more than 350 species of birds, a great variety of reptiles and mammals, where most remarkable it is the Chigüire, the greatest rodent of the world, whose number reaches to about 20,000 units. All these animals are free, without fear some, since the hunting was prohibited several years ago, which gives much security them and it allows to see them us very short distance.

In the cattle ranch natural hidrológycs systems exist that are the rivers Matiyure and Orichuna and the Caicara Sewer. In addition it counts on 140 km of internal ways, with which an integration of the developments tourist and cattle with the ecological systems is obtained. In the Cattle ranch the Cedral is the Matiyure Camping, that it tells on 25 cabins, that they offer single rooms and double with conditioned air, ventilators of ceiling and baths deprived with hot water.

The facilities also count on a swimming pool, a bar and a hungry style buffet where Creole and international food be served.

There are telephone facilities. A service of guides specialized for the different excursions is offered, that speak Spanish and English for the comfort of the foreign tourist.

During the nights a nocturnal excursion is offered, optional, for birds watching and mammals or to see videos on fauna, as well as the possibility of participating in some char it scientist or simply to enjoy a set of local music.

Stay in the camping includes the hotel lodging and services, the use of the facilities, 3 daily meals and nonalcoholic drinks, services of guides and two daily excursions that can be made in vehicles type safari or boats by the river, in which they would become birds watching, visits to garceros and the habitat of the different animals, as well as a route by the natural footpaths of the forest.

The schedules of these excursions are: in the morning to the 9:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. and in afternoon from the 4:00 p.m. to the 7:00 p.m.

1. Matiyure -Mata de Caña -Puente La Batea - Corozito:

1er. Route: Matiyure -Mata de Caña:
Approx 10 min. In safari.
Walk for to watch Araguatos monkey , búhos, stork and gabanes.
Time of excursion: 30 minutes.

2do. Route: Mata de caña- Puente La Batea: Aprox 20 minutes In safari.
Watch of toninas(sweet water dolphin) and Bat.

3er. Route: Puente La Batea -Corozito:
The schedules of these excursions are: in the morning to the 9:00 a.m. until the 12:00 p.m. and in afternoon from the 4:00 p.m. to the 7:00 p.m.
Observation of birds palmeros bears and foxes guache .
Total duration 3 hours. Ideal to make it in the mornings.

2. Matiyure - Mata de Caña - El Jobal:

   2do. Route: Mata de Caña -El Jobal: Approx 1 ½ hour in safari on the Jobal embankment.
   Bird watching and Anacondas. Trip Back.
   Total duration: 3 hours. Ideal for morning excursions.
   

3. Matiyure - Calcara - Las Vacas:

   ler. Route: Matiyure -Caicara:
   Approx 30 minutes in safari.
   Bird watching and Toninas(sweet water dolphin) in the Caicara River.
   

   2do Route: Caicara - Las Vacas:
   Approx 30 minutes in safari.
   Bird watching and Araguatos Monky.
   Long walk of 45 minutes by forests of galleries . Trip back.
   Total duration 2 ½ hours.

4. Matiyure - Laguna Barretera:

   We went in safari until the port in 5 minutes. Soon 45 minutes in boat until the Lagoon. In the route birds are observed, dribbles and chenchenas. Fishing of pirañas in the Lagoon. Return. Total duration: 2 ½ hours.

5. Matiyure - Los Rayados:

   We took the highway to Caracaro and we arrived in boat until the dam or also we go in boat by the Caicara until the foundations of Venados and Veladero and soon to the dam. Picnic in the dam of the Bordered ones.
   Fishing of pavón and piraña. Chigüires, birds, cattle and cunagüaros are observed in the route.
   Return with duration of 1 ½ hour.
   Total duration 6 hours approximately.

Morning excursion:
Route Mata de Caña -El Jobal.

Afternoon excursion:
Route Matiyure -Barretera Lagoon.
